20th Annual AIDS Walk 10/18

Event: 20th Annual AIDS Walk

Time: 7 AM - 2 PM


Location: Discovery Meadow,
(Downtown San Jose -- Woz Way and San Carlos St.)



Description: Cheering, setting up, food, etc. This is one of the biggest events that San Jose has every year & you can bet on it being EXTREMELY packed with people from everywhere in SJ. You can expect to see a lot of people you know from other schools.


IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REGISTER TO VOLUNTEER! The nametag they prepare for you will be your ticket to lots of food opportunities, t-shirts & junk.

for all you minors, which includes me, we have to fill out another volunteer waiver! i had forgotten about that so if you can, print it out, fill it out & bring it with you on the day of the event, or come find me in room 405 during brunch/lunch on FRIDAY for a form!

For those of you that signed up online & got an email from them saying to come & volunteer on saturday instead of SUNDAY let me know so that i can talk to the person in charge to change your shift to sunday!

I second that. But Just keep in mind at future events that the seniors that are giving rides are very busy & stressed right now with classes & college apps so if you guys need a ride back, please be understanding to them and not try to lag & sweet talk me into staying longer. If you can get your own ride back then you're free to stay as long as you want. I'm not trying to be a bad guy so make it easier for me (=

Anyways, for those who are interested in going to Fall Rally North at Great America this saturday please call me & let me know how much of the $32 you can pay for for the ticket in & ill talk to our kiwanis advisor to see what we can do. JUST SO YOU KNOW, IF YOU HAVE A WOW CARD, it's only $5
